Here’s Our Final Breakthrough Producer Nominees For This Years Awards!

With an abundance of talent at our finger tips, dance music curators V MoVement have joined us to present the ‘Breakthrough Producer Of The Year’ Award which will be revealed at the Stoney Roads Awards night on Friday the 23rd of October 2015 – Stay tuned for a comp to win tickets to the night!

The ‘Breakthough Producer Of The Year’ award nominees represent a number of producers in Australia that are on the fringe to bigger things through their persistence in creative endeavour and exciting output!

After unveiling our first three nominees, here are our second and final, three nominees rounding out a solid bunch of Australian artists!

Stephane 1993

Stephane 1993

Plying his trade in the outskirts of Newcastle’s suburbia sits a rumbling techno head that refuses to be quiet. His music has resonated so much, to the point that he’s been releasing on famous German label Boysnoize Records. His repetitive and addictive niche of music style has grown a select following across Australia and the world.

Catlips

Cat Lips

Perth based music producer Catlips has introduced herself uniquely through an addictive disjointed, repetitive synth-pop. Her funky-awkward-Australian-quirky style of production makes for a fun forward thinking experimental music – plus she’s a killer DJ!

Human Movement

Human Movement

The Sydney based two piece production outfit are stomping their hard hitting bass influenced techno and growing cult following. With an attitude for music influenced by nobody, the forward thinking outfit continue to push an intrinsic movement on late clubbing nights.

Make sure you check out the other nominees here and be sure to lock down your five picks in the publicly voted ‘Producer Of Year’ award here.

The Stoney Roads Awards are presented by V MoVement and have been brought to life with the help of our friends at Absolut Botanik, Apple Thief Cider, Jameson, Pistonhead Lager, SOL REPUBLIC, and ZANEROBE.
