REZZ – Plague

Rising techno producer Isabelle Rezazadeh, working under the monkier REZZ, recently released her EP ‘Insurrection’ through Skrillex owned imprint NEST HQ. The EP flew under the radar somewhat, with only one song finding massive success; Plague, which hit 100,000 plays. Right from the start, we sense the eerie atmosphere that has everyone comparing REZZ to Parisian techno don, Gesaffelstein.

Plague builds until a driving and thumping bassline is introduced, supplemented with thumping kicks, crunchy percussion, and a snare that packs tremendous punch. REZZ blends elements of of heavy techno with “sketchy vibes” and “downtown alleyways,”, the perfect soundtrack to your Saturday night munt. ‘Insurrection’ is also accompanied with dancefloor-ready tracks Lucifer and Rush.
