New Techno Duo Out Of Melbourne Drop ‘Anatomical’ EP

A new emergence of techno has surfaced in Melbourne. No one really knows who the duo are, or from where they hail. Some stories suggest they come from a mysterious outcrop of land situated somewhere between the Techno Sea and Pound Canal. Other whispers allude to them being spawned from the fury of Vangart, a high druid of the north.

However, through the mist of rumors and fables, we have two confirmed facts. Their names are Don Blaster & Catalyst and their combined entity is titled Back Burners.

The uncovering of this mysterious operation was the work of Melbourne based label, Houses In Motion. Upon returning from their harrowing quest that spanned many horizons of the forgotten lands, they dropped to their knees in exhausted glory. With overpowering lust, they presented their spoils to the druid council of Melbourne; a four track EP titled Anatomical, thus marking the beginning of Back Burners.

As the druids sat, they remarked how the ‘Anatomical’ EP thrusted them into an introspective electronic journey through sonic landscapes that blend seamlessly into one another, creating an overall experience of darkness shrouded in mystery. It was remarked upon the focus on intricate rhythms and evolutions, the EP serves as a set of functional DJ tools to bring mood and emotion to a set. The druids were pleased.
