Remember that new Zac Efron flick, the inspiring story of a young DJ chasing his EDM dream?

It is with great pleasure that we announce.. drumroll please, the film has horribly flopped and made just $1.8 million since it’s release even with it’s distribution to 2, 333 screens America wide.

This marks one of the lowest wide-release debuts for a major studio film in history. Even with the likes of Emily Ratajowski starring as the love interest her assets still weren’t enough to save this one.

Studio executives chimed in kind of blaming Zac for the flop,

“This was a passion project for Zac Efron, and we believe in him,” Warner Bros. executive Vice President Jeff Goldstein said.

Sadly we don’t have much pity for the man as he still has the rig of lords and probably made a fair bit of coin from the movie, we’re sure he’s not losing any sleep over it.
