Novation’s launchpad has been behind some of the internets favourite live performances (Madeon, M4SONIC) and also found it’s way into many budding and established producers hands.

Following the launch of the launchpad all the way back in 2009 the company has added additional products surrounding the pioneering device and have finally deemed it important enough for a serious upgrade.

The forthcoming model dubbed the ‘S’ or ‘2’ will sport RGB LEDs to match the pads with clips in Ableton Live, a modern industrial design, new drum pad capabilities for recording and looping on the fly and much much more.

Although without a sale date you’re just going to have to watch the announce video below with English Hip-Hop producer Buddy Pearce mowing over the devices 8×8 front end.
