Our favourite falsetto brothers Hot Chip are giving us a big old taste of their new stuff with a free album stream of ‘Why Make Sense’ on iTunes prior to it’s release.

In a recent interview we did with the band on the direction of the album, the band said “It’s never hard to come up with ideas – there’s more ideas than we can use, really. What’s really hard is to refine and edit, and try to make things as good as they can be.”

From a twinkle and good old shuffle of the album on iTunes radio, the music they’ve created would be best described as warm, smooth and electronic. There’s something quite non-invasive about their style that makes you respect what you hear more.

The album was recorded in Oxfordshire and London and produced by Hot Chip with Mark Ralph and mixed by the band, David Wrench (FKA Twigs, Caribou) and Jimmy Douglass (Timbaland, Aaliyah).
