Holy Ghost! have announced a remix album to help share some new wares as well as a stash of classic re-rubs.

Dubbed ‘Work For Hire’ the album boasts 20-tracks of remix goodness with their workings of Cut Copy, MGMT, Moby, Curses, Phoenix, LCD Soundsystem and more as well as new ones for Jose Gonzales, Hanni El Khatib and even Katy Perry.

The band reflect on the body of work and feels that comes from seeing so many great remixes together;

“Letting our remixes go has always been kind of hard, we labor over them for weeks, often reproducing every element of the song from drums to vocals, and really try to give them as much life and love as we would an original song.”

“To see them all here, done over so many years but now in one comprehensive collection, side by side, is amazing. It’s also kind of like looking at our own musical timeline. You can hear us developing as producers, having fun, experimenting, and – above all else – working. This album is a scrapbook of our work and time together.”

To celebrate a string of US dates, some of them alongside Empire of the Sun the band shared their remix of Hanni El Khatib’s “Two Brothers” and is a reminder of just how fantastically skilled Nick and Alex are.
