Ever since Invictus [Cosmonstro], we’ve been keeping constant tabs on Phazz. Sitting somehwere in between Soulection (">Phazz + Stwo Latch by Disclosure Remix), Cosmonstro and well, himself, Phazz is always re-inventing. A prime example is his (insert new beatport genre, “flume”) collaboration with a harder hitting, Habstrakt, which turned into the silkiest of sounds that stand our test of time.

His latest venture sees him release on Parisian record label, Nowadays Records. Joined by Everydayz, the two have produced a stunning LP by the name, “Almeria.” One can’t help but think the EP is named after some amalgamation of both their ex-lovers…? Also, the strings craft is a must watch out for.
