French producer Darius’ recent single ‘Helios ft. Wayne Snow’ is easily one of my favourite songs of the year so far. Seductive and full of soul, the sultry atmosphere is filled with velvety tones and smooth layers of lusty synths. It’s pure electro-soul perfection.

You may be more familiar with Darius through his remixes of Flight Facilities, " target="_blank">Bondax, and MØ, which have collectively racked up many many millions of Soundcloud plays. Now returning the favour, Bondax has released his very own remix of ‘Helios,’ and it is amaaaazing.

Injecting a funky groove and a trippy beat full of bubbles, claps and echoed vocals, they’ve created a totally new atmosphere without losing the flirtatious soul of the original.

As I wrote last week, it’s not always easy to remix an already amazing track – but Bondax, ever the overachievers, have gone above and beyond any expectations. This is so, so good.
