Diplo and Skrillex’s collaborative Jack U project has been filled with surprises, from high profile features, impromptu sets and of course that 24-hour marathon party that was eventually shut down by the police there really has been no ‘plan’ in place.

So it came with not surprise the two biggest stars of the dance world decided there was no time like the present to drop their 10-track album that is stacked with features including 2 Chainz, AlunaGeorge and even baby faced brat Justin Bieber.

How does it stack up? It’s fresh as fuck…

Some tracks are passable but the ones that do pop such as “Beats Knockin” feat Fly Boi Keno and “To U” with AlunaGeorge really don’t sound like anything currently out there with massive emphasis on twerk, trap and moombaton.

For what people were talking up about the Justin Bieber feature it seems to fall a little flat, even down to a mastering issue with his top line stitched flimsily on-top of the bubbly beat.
