Jamie xx has confirmed he’ll release an album this year and teased an Essential Mix instalment with Four Tet.

According to a cover story on Mixmag, the xx member will release his debut LP dubbed ‘In Colour’ sometime in June on Young Turks and will feature previously shared singles “Girl” and “Sleep Sound”.

The album will also tipple new singles “Gosh”, “Loud Pieces” and “Seesaw” as well as a collaboration with bandmate Romy Madley Croft and Four Tet.

That’s not all with the Jamie xx and Four Tet set to share the decks for an Essential Mix that’ll air this weekend at 4am and according to FT will feature music from Koreless, Throwing Snow as well as a collaboration with Roots Manuva.
