Passion Pit Share Two ‘Classic’ Sounding Singles From Next album

It wasn’t long ago we were scratching our heads as to what Passion Pit were up to (hint: working with Madeon), and now two new singles ahead of another album.

Those worried that they guys may have strayed from their usual output shouldn’t worry with “Lifted Up (1985)” and “Where The Sky Hangs” both glorious slices of uplifting, groovy indie-dance that’ll get your right foot tapping.

Some outlets are purporting that “Where The Sky Hangs” is sound a little like Huey Lewis, but is that ever a bad thing? Also what happened in 1985? “1985 was a good year,” according to lead singer Michael Angelakos using his lyrical prowess.

It’s taken from the 10-track ‘Kindred’ release that’ll land 21st of April via Columbia.
