Is This Australian Producer The Future Of Dance Music?

Is Dreems paving the way for the next chapter of dance music worldwide?

It’s been a long and winding road for homegrown hero Angus Gruzman, from his early days of DJing a sizzling side of electro throughout Australian clubs with the infamous Bang Gang DeeJays in the early 2000’s to his work as The Finger Prince with Motorik synth slayer Frank Xavier it’s been a pretty exciting ride!

All this feels like his musical path has seemingly been careening towards something special which has formulated in his current project Dreems, a literal lucid mix of swampy, ambient house sounds.

While working in Canada for Tiga’s Turbo label he’s managed to construct an entire LP dubbed ‘in’ that dropped on mediative label Multi Culti, a spawn of Gus and Thomas Von Party with the description really pinning this one as a one size fits all scenario;

Music to trip to. Music to meditate on. Music to upgrade your DNA. Music to get your whole family dancing. Music to teach you. Music to live by. Music to die to. MUSIC TO MULTIPLY YOUR MIND

Furthering the subconscious activation Gus teamed up with visual specialist Hans Lo to “create an immersive experience for the listener to digest the music” that really did hit the cerebral spot.

One listen and you know that this could be the birth of a sound that has the flexibility and reach to take over as to what people will be listening through 2015 and beyond.

Would we complain? Nahhh, bring it!
