Los Angeles is attracting a swarm of indie-pop groups and we’re loving it. One of our current favorites, Golden Coast started 2015 strong with their well-received track “Futurist”. If California could be a song, it would be “Futurist”, brimming with a beach-y vibes, falsetto vocals and reggae inspired guitar chords. Giving the track a refreshing new sound, Grammy winner, Sirah has hip hop-ified the tune. A touch of those 808 drum samples accompanied with her featured rap verse, the ultra cool female rapper transformed the modern day Beach Boys song into a laid-back trapped up track.
