Ariana Grande May Have Ripped Off This Australian Bands Music Video

You spend every minute working your butt off as an independent artist, because you have to. Each hour, minute and second counts and to see someone ‘borrow’ your ideas can be a little disheartening to say the least.

As it’s happened to good guys SAFIA who are on the pointy end of the stick with the music video for somewhat legit pop starlet Ariana Grande’s “One Last Time” looking almost identical to their “You Are The One” clip… and the Canberra lads are NOT happy about it;

This might just be coincidence but to us it looks like either the people at Ariana Grande’s label or the film maker have seen our clip for ‘You Are The One’ & reworked the concept a little bit and then straight up stolen and copied some bits… (ESPECIALLY THE END!)

Wouldn’t be the first time uncreative talentless fucks from big labels and/or big film firms steal ideas from small independent creatives who are trying really hard to make something different for a change…

The timing? SAFIA who’ll play this weekends Mountain Sounds festival dropped their video September last year, with Ariana sharing hers on Monday so this wasn’t the case of a similar release date. Even worse is the ending that is almost frame for frame the same, not cool!

This isn’t the first time the yanks have tried pulling one over us with One Direction doing the dizzy on Aussie band Clubfeet in April last year.

Watch the clips below, what do you think?

More evidence.
