Kaytranada and Vic Mensa drop hip hop gem

“Gotta love it though, they’re hatin’, homie
I be on Sunsets then go back to 68th and Stoney”

So we’re a little bit obsessed with Kaytranada.

The always versatile (and ALWAYS funky) Kay is hard at work on a new album – dropping a few tasty treaty in the process. Come in Drive Me Crazy – featuring the ridiculously talented Vic Mensa. This is the second time the two have come together for a dance/hip hop collab – having worked together on the cracker of a track, Wimmie Nah, earlier this year.

Similarly to their other track, you can expect Kay’s trademark glitchy bass and claps paired with the flawless vocal skill of Vic Mensa. Taking it more upbeat with Drive Me Crazy, the track is diverse and interesting – think angry romantic gangsters. Have a listen below or, to quote Kay ‘BUY THAT SHEIT’.

Hopefully this is one of the last single flirtations before the album drops on XL later this year. The first single Leave Me Alone ft. Shay Lia certainly got our engines running.

You can also catch Vic Mensa at the Red Bull Music Academy and Future Classic stage at St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival.
