Ahead of their huge Australian tour which will see them take on 10 dates with a live band, one of the most successful psy trance acts ever, Infected Mushroom sat down with us and told us about their favourite tracks in 2014.

Averaging 120 live and DJ performances a year, it’s any wonder when they have time to just sit down and listen to music but when you’re thinking about what music Infected Mushroom aka Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani and Erez Eisen are listening to when they’re hanging out, bored on a flight or dancing to in their jocks at home it’s kind of hard to figure out.

Throw out your crystal balls because here, right from the horses mouths, are Amit and Erez’s 5 favourite tracks from 2014.

1. KNIFE PARTY – GIVE IT UP

Massive raga dub drum and base track by the one and only Knife Party. Sound level like no other EDM band out there. (Get the album here!)

2. SEVEN LIONS – LUCY

A massive psy trance track by an artist that doesn’t usually do psy trance. Nice samples and massive sound.

3. KOAN SOUND – DYNASTY

A favourite track by far for 2014. Amazing new sound technology and a favorite bass line.

4. SAVANT – MECCA

One of the most fresh artists and tracks heard in 2014. Trust in savant to take it to the extreme.

5. ASTRIX & PIXEL – ROLL OVER

Pure good old psy trance at its best. Astrix and Pixel together is always a good combination and this track is massive.
