South Australian three-piece Flamingo have just shared the second single from their ‘Drip Away’ EP and it’s a personal favorite.

2014 was a big year for the dudes from Adelaide. They supported the likes of Bonobo, Yacht and Classixx, toured the country with The Kite String Tangle and played the main stage at Groovin The Moo, a spot they won through Triple J Unearthed. They released a number of incredibly tight originals including their breakthrough single ‘Heart, My’, which caught the attention of national radio station Triple J and Ministry of Sound sister label etcetc!

The ‘Drip Away’ EP was released in December last year. The title track, which features vocals from Madeleine Hunt, was a solid way to round out what was an exceptionally busy twelve months of writing and touring.

Their latest ‘Lost On You’ has unparalleled grove and a slightly more prominent vocal than some of their earlier releases. Production is as always, hardware-heavy and ridiculously on point. An incredible start to what I believe will be an even bigger year than the last for the Adelaide based trio.
