After months of much anticipation, D.C. producer [who’s about to move to L.A. to fully fulfill his dreams] Royal has finally released his debut EP, Cycles. The new project features five records, three previously unreleased, all of which are pure musical gold. If this kid hasn’t proved himself to be a rising star on the scene to you as of yet I don’t know what’s wrong with your ears, but get them checked. His new EP is a combination of chill electronic music and his self-titled new genre, conscious-pop. Now I don’t entirely know what conscious-pop is but since it’s featured on Cycles I am now a lifelong fan of the genre and hope that more of it comes afloat. Check it out for yourself below.
