Queenslanders now have the opportunity to get a certified education and become an electronic music producer at the same time!

As of 2015, TAFE Queensland East Coast is offering it’s first Diploma in Electronic Music Production. It has become increasingly clear just how financially successful producers can become, alongside the potential employment opportunities (not just as music producers per se, but for work within sound production, advertising, television, DJing and more,) so it’s a pretty smart move. Not to mention that it might increase student numbers too.

As TAFE Queensland East Coast music teacher Ben Rynderman explains, “Our electronic music production diploma builds on the basics people have already established in their own time, and introduces deeper concepts of electronic composition, complex synthesis, in-the-box engineering and writing for specific cinematic and commercial situations.”

So, if you live on the Sunshine Coast and you wanna learn the tips and tools of the trade – this is your big chance! The downside it that is costs close to $13 000 for an upfront payment, but hey, it might change your life.
