/ˈlo͞osid/ appears to be a team effort from the States and has taken the interwebz by full force. Trickling it’s way into my soundcloud last week after four releases into the project, I’ve been listening to his latest, “John Mayer – Free Fallin’ (/ˈlo͞osid/ Remix),” an embarrassing amount of times. The two best parts of the track for me are the “live” cheering at the beginning, and the ricochet sounding synths. This bass heavy take on John Mayer will have fan gurls fanning all over ze place in no time.

 

They(?) show much variety in the four tracks released in total in one month. If you look deeper, you’ll find their website, whoisloosid.com. The website serves as a fine detail, foreshadowing an impressive creative project to follow. The “Faithless – Insomia” remix brings on a G-House influence, whilst “dim the lights” has some trance elements. Talk about ticking all the boxes, huh!
