Kaytranada Earns His Own Monthly BBC Radio 1 Show

News of the day has it that 22-year old Haitian-Canadian producer Kaytranada will have his own BBC Radio 1 show in 2015 meaning every month we’ll be copping a handful of hours of the smoothest of beats.

Although meant for an official announce early next year word got out and his management were pushed to confirm the news yesterday;

I guess as well…. the secret is out …. @KAYTRANADA does in fact have his own BBC Radio show coming at y’all once a month in 2015. – WRC Management

Kay feeling like…

We don’t have any further specifics but chuffed all the same with the news as the young beat-maker will follow in the footsteps of a largely UK contingent of Jamie xx, Benji B and Jackmaster.

Saying he’d had a big year would be an understatement carefully traversing the Hip Hop and electronic worlds before signing on with XL Recordings, producing a recent joint for Vic Mensa and flipping Badbadnotgood.

His fans in Australia can check him out on the Field Day lineup alongside Tycho, Tensnake, Cashmere Cat, Dillon Francis and more.
