Flying Lotus, Jon Hopkins, Solomun and More Round Out BBC Radio 1 Residency

We were already feeling sassy with news that Field Day headliner Kaytranada would be taking the reigns for a BBC Radio 1 Residency next year (along with an album release) but now we’re blown away with the rest of the cast being confirmed.

Proving the British radio station have pull like no other they’ve also grabbed Laneway Festival players Flying Lotus and Jon Hopkins to help make 2015 like no other. Joining them will also be Hannah Wants, George FitzGerald and Solomun in what will be one of the most diverse line-up’s we’ve ever seen.

Flying Lotus will be glowing after the album release of ‘You’re Dead’ and will hopefully have a stash of new music of his own and from his Branfeeder roster to share if his GTA V radio station is anything to go by. You could say he’s a little excited telling the station of his appointment;

“I still can’t believe this is about to happen, it’ll be a pleasure to invade the UK airwaves for the months ahead.”

Same goes for the rest of the high flying producers!
