If you haven’t already figured out your New Years Eve plans there are still a few options floating around that includes Victoria’s Beyond The Valley festival that not only boasts three-days of international and local talent featuring Dillon Francis, Kaytranada, TACHES, Todd Terje and more but a number of luxury camping and foodie options.

What does that mean? Well, 5 reasons not to miss Beyond The Valley.

1. The Location

 

Phillip Island is just that, a large grassy knoll with steep cliffs, pristine beaches and clear blue water. The idea you can party your pants off (literally) while still being able to escape and have a moment to yourself is something truly special and a reason along to get along!

2. The Lineup

 

Sleep might become secondary when you figure out you can’t miss a single thing during the three-days of music as Bag Raiders, Dillon Francis who just launched his new album, Friend Within, Kaytradana, Midnight Juggernauts, Peking Duk, Golden Features and many many more play. Add a smattering of local alumni such as Cosmo’s Midnight, HWLS, RUFUS, Basenji and KLO and there really isn’t any excuse to have your eyes closed more than a second

3. Food (vego’s welcome)

 

 

Beyond the Valley crew have been teasing us to no end on their facebook posting up photos of everything that’ll be chopped, grilled, marinaded, sprinkled and served. Even vego’s are welcome with animal-friendly nom’s at the ready. You’ll probably find us in line for the toasties that will be filled with “slow-cooked salt-bush lamb ragout with Swiss cheese to smashed avocado, feta, lime and mint” – need. this. now.

4. Bubble Soccer

 

Not just bubble soccer (video " target="_blank">here) but bubble soccer with Dillon Francis and Nina Las Vegas! The pair were challenged on Twitter to play against team Beyond The Valley and accepted in what will be a blood thirty but mostly tiring game to play. Good for the spectators though (that’s you guys).

5. Luxury

 

The guys aren’t kidding around when it comes to the good stuff with “glamping” (camping + glamour) a real thing now for camping festival. On offer was lux tents that have sold out but you can still get your hands on the ‘bell’ tent that looks just as badass and plenty big enough for a bit of a little after-party action.  If that wasn’t all there’s also the ‘hangover spa’ option that’ll see you with refreshing liquids, hour long massage, facial masks and ‘100% hospital grade oxygen’ – hell yeah!
