Sonny Wharton’s Whartone Records has just turned 5 years old, and to celebrate they’re set to release the ‘5 Years of Whartone’ compilation which will feature tunes from the likes of Pirupa, Sergio Fernandez, Marco Lys, Digital Impression, Hauswerks and many more. What’s more is that each of the 30 tracks on the release has been individually re-edited by Sonny Wharton exclusively for it!

Providing a unique take on both past and present releases, we’ve been lucky enough to be given the world premiere of Sonny’s edit of Dirty Secretz’s remix of ‘Everything’, a piano-laden tune originally released earlier this year.

The edit is a powerhouse 6-and-a-half-minute cut focusing on pulsing tech-house basslines, club-ready vocals, energising percussion and in particular funky piano melodies, perfect for any prime-time dancefloor. It’s taken a more house-y approach than the original mix, and in short: it’s fire.
