Fully sick firecracker Rei Barker is a young man with a simple dream… to bring Darude to Australia for a DJ tour!

In an effort to get the man behind THE most iconic dance song of multiple generations (step aside Daft Punk) and the tighted speed dealers/soul patch, he’s kicked off a Pozzible campaign to make that dream a reality.

The story of the project is straight forward really;

Simply put, Sandstorm is the finest song ever created and by extension, Darude is the most influential and important musician alive. To my knowledge, he has never been to Australia which is a damn shame. – Rei Barker

Although the sum seems a little hefty and the fact Darude was actually here in 2001, Rei has looked into the booking fee which notes it being in the six figure market but wants to “erred on the side of caution” in getting Darude to Australia with any extra money left over given to party funds he jokes.

Pledging starts out pretty low at a $1 contribution which will cement you as an integral part of bringing the Finnish producer to Australia with more hefty sums getting you a ticket to the show or even a rap/dance combo from the Pozzible starter himself.

As it stands the campaign has only netted $115 of the whopping $220,000 BUT there’s still plenty of time to go and help chase Rei, wait, OUR destiny of seeing Darude downunder.
