Subsonic Festival drops second line up announcement

Waxers of wise words, and fighters for social justice are in high supply this year at Subsonic Festival, with the forefather of indie-hop and greatest lyricist of our generation, Sage Francis, and NZ hip-hop and Pacifica pioneers Che Fu & King Kapisi added to their second line up drop.

Joining Che Fu and King Kapisi in their crusade across the pond to deliver award winning reggae hip-hop, is local indigenous collective Oka, famous for their genre weaving wizardry; fusing breakbeat, reggae-dub, house, hip hop and world music. Conscious goddess Saritah arrives on our shores for the festival circuit fresh from California with her newly recorded album.

Adding to an already strong PLUR army is one half of Deep Space Network; Move D, alongside fellow kraut Robag Wruhme, and UK based Peverelist. Purveyors of all that is deep, tech and house Dirty Doering, Britta Arnold and Kevin Griffiths are also following in toe, to what was named one of the best festivals in the world.

You can check out the full up-to-date line up here.
