No, Justin Timberlake WASN’T Denied Entry Because Of Lockout Laws

It was exclusively reported that Justin Timberlake, who’s in town for a run of Australian tour dates was denied entry to a club after his second Sydney show on Thursday due to NSW lockouts.

Justin ended up tweeting that he was never there, nor had he even intended to appear at the 20/20 afterparty at Miind Nightclub on Oxford St where his tour DJ ‘DJ Steve’ was playing.

Even if he was, the laws shouldn’t be too surprising with a 2am curfew in JT’s hometown of California where bars and clubs similarly call last drinks at 1:30am.

The club has since posted up an official statement indicating they acted on ‘information’ that Justin was looking to make it along and they had acted under the requirements of the NSW lockout laws (which stink).

Hopefully now we can all get back to enjoying the long weekend now!
