You would be excused for thinking The xx lent their track “Intro ” to a recent Hugo Boss advert as a stylish fellow made his way around town donning the brands new eyewear.
Not quite, with the track made by an unidentified producer but sounding all too similar to the British trio’s beats cemented further with their label Young Turks lashing out on Twitter about the “poorly disguised fake” this week;

With the video reaching almost 2,500,000 views since April and a number of comments asking about the music in the video it’d seem Young Turks have a bit of a reason to be pissed!
It happens more often than you’d think with big companies opting to sidestep sync deals by getting a producer to replicate certain sounds they think would fit with an ad as a fraction of the cost. Booerns!
Lets hope the companies find an understanding for this blatant rip off. Both video/songs below.
