They’ve teamed up with Universal Music Australia alongside killer acts The Aston Shuffle and Uberjak’d to provide an avenue of opportunity for a lucky few.

By simply signing up to the Made For Music website and uploading your track, you’ll instantly open an opportunity to receive professional artist feedback from The Aston Shuffle or Uberjak’d. Further more, if the dudes REALLY like your stuff when you enter the competition on the site, you could find yourself negotiating a release with Universal Music Australia.

What’s the loot if I win?

 

Two-day studio workshop session led by The Aston Shuffle and Uberjak’d in 2015. The overall winner will also receive an opportunity to perform in front of Universal Music Australia’s A&R team and a voucher for $5000-worth of studio equipment with those friendly legends over at Store DJ.

What’s the criteria?

 

– Be an independent electronic dance music artist who is not currently under contract with any record label;
– Not enter into an agreement with a record label during the Competition Period or for 3 months after;
– In the event you are a Finalist and Universal Music would like to negotiate a recording, songwriting or other agreement with you, be willing to negotiate exclusively with Universal Music during the Competition Period and for 3 months after.
