Watch: Sam Tiba – DÉGUISEMENT (Bromance Records)

Bromance Records’ Sam Tiba has released the official film clip to his single ‘DÉGUISEMENT’.

The French producer – known prominently in the dance music spectrum as one quarter of Club Cheval – has been the focus of the Bromance records team as of late, progressing with his solo project and latest single.

The film clip for ‘DÉGUISEMENT’ is an artwork more so than anything else. Directed by Nick and Chloe of Caporal Films, the nearly five minute visual spell encapsulates a range of bright, contrasting colours, shapes and scenarios that seem to follow the path of an estranged yet captivating storyline.

The video touches upon themes of martial arts and mortality, all whilst maintaing a pretty, visual aesthetic that doesn’t fail to hold your focus. The film clip is so obscure it almost takes away from the song itself. But that is not to discredit Sam Tiba, instead to praise the obvious respect for visual art that he attains, coinciding – of course – with his musical talent.

Looking solely at the track, Sam Tiba has produced a heavy hitting, stand-out production. The film clip is probably not as obscure as fellow Bromance member Gesaffelstein’s ‘PURSUIT’yet the visual elements seem to adhere just as convincingly, if not more-so, with the song. It will be exciting too see what comes next from the more than promising production skill-set of Sam Tiba.
