Meet Charlie Warner, an 81-year-old professor from the states who is recovering from cancer and major open-heart surgery. After surviving while potentially facing remission for the cancer as well as needing four insulin shots a day for diabetes he made the decision to head out to famed spiritual festival Burning Man to see what all the fuss was about.

Like getting slugged right in the feels, his experience is that of a man who’s seen the worst, stared death in the face and yet experienced pure joy of the pilgrimage, love and life on the playa. Although we’re unsure if he got down to a plethora of roaming proggy house or sunrise doofs the 15-minutes or so is an eye-opener and sets in the realisation that life is always worth living regardless of whats getting you down… even to the point of setting up his own career & advice booth and giving something back all the while trying to figure out just exactly why everyone heads to Burning Man.
