Long serving Polish techno lord UMEK dropped his top 10 tracks for Beatport this month and great beard of Zeus, did his number 1 song grab us.

Straight from his fourth album ‘Rhythmia’, the single (also titled ‘Rhythmia’) follows up UMEK’s direction towards a broader audience from his traditional progressive techno past. Teaming with Heartik, ‘Rhythmia’ is incredibly melodic and forward thinking. Engineered beautifully to create an orchestral intensity that’s unmatched to anything i’ve personally heard recently. Oh and dat cowbell 808. How can you not feel good after this!

UMEK is proof that the traditional guard of electronic music can still pump out the gold.
