UK techno don Ed Russel, better known as Tessela, the man responsible for ‘Nancy’s Pantry’, is back on the 1’s and 2’s this time providing a remix for Peverelist’s track ‘Aztec Chant’.

‘The idea of Tessela remixing Peverelist is one surefire way of inducing sweaty heart palpitations of excitement. Thankfully, the release date of such a thing is just about on the horizon aka 13th October. It also comes backed with a fantastic reworking from Ilian Tape’s Stenny & Andrea, and that instantly recognisable artwork by Tess Redburn.’

In keeping with true Tessela style, the 90’s vibes flow in the industrial build up and subtle synth pad work as it then culminates around the three minute mark with the introduction of a hefty bass presence and quintessential percussion layering. It’s a dark track primed for an even darker dancefloor setting.
