Just over a fortnight ago we featured Melbourne based house duo Riffie and their track ‘With You’ which can be found on the Medium Rare Recordings ‘Local Cuts’ compilation. Oscilla is the side project for Mike Wills, one half of the duo and ‘Colours’ is the first were hearing from his down tempo alter ego.

On vocals he’s enlisted the help of South Australian singer/song writer Elena or ‘Allume’ who’s soft, dreamy voice perfectly compliments the warm, fuzzy strings and synths that are found throughout ‘Colours’. For me it’s one of those songs that can be played on loop for hours and if you feel the same as I do, you’ll be happy to hear that more music from both Mike and Elena is only around the corner with ‘Allume’ set to release her debut E.P in late October 2014.
