After several weeks of social media hype we finally get to hear the first collaborative offering from American soulstress Mary J. Blige and English brothers Disclosure. The track titled ‘Right Now’ was produced by the UK duo with long time friends Sam Smith and Jimmy Napes and will feature on Mary J’s forthcoming (13th) studio album ‘The London Sessions’ due out in November.

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost been a year since we heard Mary J Blige add a little extra sauce to the duo’s hit ‘F For You’. Since then an amazing working friendship has formed between the group and from the sounds of things the time that they’ve spent together has been incredibly productive. In a recent interview with the Gaurdian Mary talked about what it was like working with the brothers, the amazing chemistry they have together and even the family vibe they feel as a group.

As for the track, ‘Right Now’ is a perfect example of Disclosure’s creative, forward thinking take on RnB, Pop and House music. Mary J’s amazingly soulful voice works beautifully with the not so traditional, RnB inspired production courtesy of 4 of England’s youngest and finest musical minds.
