Flume & Chet Faker – Drop the Game (Sweater Beats Remix)

Man oh man, Sweater Beats has turned Flume & Chet Faker’s “Drop The Game” on its head in a two-steppy-weirdo remix!

We’re not sure if its official or not but it’s got the seal of approval from us and better yet it’s up for a free download. It’s twisted, it’s turnt, there’s a piano breakdown, it’s everything you’d want from a “Drop The Game” remix.

Both Flume and Chet Faker will be playing this years Listen Out parties who topped up their already busy lineup with UK duo Snakehips with another international to be announced soon.

Sweater Beats was also in Australia recently for a decent whack of a tour which meant we could pick his brains for an exclusive interview. In it we pried him about the influence and perspective of Australian dance music on the world scene;

I think the dance music that’s coming out of Australia straddles the lines between EDM, pop music, and hip hop. There’s a lot of cross pollinating going on, the line is blurring between what’s played in the clubs and what’s played on the radio.

We also wanted to see if a Sweater Beats dance move existed that’ll probably help you listen to his remix;

It would be making a stink face while bobbing your head to the beat. Shoulder shimmies are optional.

Get bobbin’ people!
