Dillon Francis’ love of all things Australia continues with a remix of synth-pop band Strange Talk with the dance-comedian approaching the band on Twitter with a special request to work his magic on their song “Morning Sun”.

Is it any good? Apart from being a whole lot different from his moody-moombah stuff he wasn’t kidding when he claimed it to be his ‘happiest’ remix yet. Taking advantage of those glowing chords and easy-on-the-ear vocals his re-work is a festival anthem if we’ve heard one.

The remix drops ahead of the release of his ‘Money Sucks, Friends Rule’ album due out October 27th on Sony locally but not prior to his latest collaborative track with Major Lazer on “Bounce” as well as a teaser for his something he’s working on with Harbourlife headliner Kygo who was also spotted in the studio with bearded Aussie folk star Matt Corby recently.

He’ll also be playing Beyond the Valley in Victoria as well as Origin in Perth for their New Years Eve parties. Expect something be happening in Sydney around that time as well!
