Throwback Four Tet: Choons from the vault

With the cray torrent of releases and business from Keiran Hebden’s Four Tet and corresponding label Text Records, the producer has taken a timeout to do a cheeky throwback this week and share some early (and we mean early) work.

Included in the Four Tet history revival is work spanning from a 17-year-old Hebden guitar jam in 95′ (shreddin’ lad) to a triptacular session with Steve Reid in 06′. Perhaps most impressive is the 2001 Dublab session, 48 minutes of pure early-chill-techno vibe.

Showcasing the journey and development from a neo-rock teen pioneer to the experimental techno genius we know today, the tracks are available to download via the links below.

Four Tet will be playing this years Listen Out parties alongside Flume, Chet Faker, Golden Features, ZHU and more.
