Premiere: Problems – Capture Me (Paces Remix)

Problems may not be a household name but they have been steadily gaining support while they carve out their own left-field direction. The Adelaide duo state their influences as world music and down-tempo electronica, while they manage to mix organic, analogue sounds with modern production. The result is a cross between the chill-wave, beach-side vibes of Washed Out and the worldly electronica of Bonobo.

Having recently announced signing to Select Music for bookings, they are now also being looked after by the same management team behind fellow Adelaide producers Tkay Maidza and Jesse Davidson. This all came about after playing just two live shows and releasing their debut EP ‘For The Ages’ earlier this year.

Problems are now extending the family by unveiling a remix package with several tracks from ‘For The Ages’ re-envisioned by a host of rising Australian production talent. The remixes will be uploaded one by one every week, starting from Friday August 15 with the first producer to get on board for a remix, Queensland bro PACES. All remixes will be available to download for the cost a Facebook ‘like’ here.

Check out the remix below, featuring PACES’ signature tropical, uplifting arrangement. Adelaide peeps can catch Problems supporting The Aston Shuffle at the Adelaide UniBar on Saturday, August 30.
