Prolific British duo Mak & Pasteman are killin’ it this year with a string of typically bass-laden releases, most notably the pair of EP’s on Redlight’s Lobster Boy imprint with the Bodywork EP and No Givin / Dirt Diggler respectively. The lads have kept the ball rolling with another belter of a show on Rinse FM, which they grace monthly for a guest mix.

The mix really gets the shoulders rolling around the 17 minute mark with the upcoming Komon & Appleblim tune ‘Motion Blur’ (Motion Blur EP, 4th August, Aus Music). The sheer texture of the tune immediately intrigues with the multiple layers of percussion getting the blood pumping.

Other notable moments include tracks from techno magnate Randomer, Dusky, Cosmin TRG and Matrixxman. Rich Tea then takes over for more of a techno-orientated mix (giddy-up), by incorporating such belters as ‘Idem’ by personal favourite Bambounou, as well as ‘Extrusion’ from Benjamin Damage.
