Pioneering Australian bush doof earthcore have announced two rare headliners to top off an already jam packed lineup that is set to entertain a full five days of psytrance, psybeint, techno and trance kicking offNovember 27th in rural Victoria.

First up is two piece psybient group Shpongle, made up of Simon Posford and Raja Ram, who is scheduled for what will no doubt be a beautifully crafted and live sunrise set of psychedelic and ambient goodness. Completing the headline double act will be legendary UK psychedelic trance legend Hallucinogen, the ground breaking moniker created by Simon Posford, in what will be a very rare and exclusive Australian performance. If you haven’t seen this doof legend before you better not miss out as he is well known for delivering the sort pulsating psychedelic trance sets that will keep feet moving through the night. Both Shpongle and Hallucinogen are currently riding high after they recently performed to a sold out audience of 20 000 punters in Colorado’s impressive Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Fuck, this is going to be good….

And for those that think doof’s are only for hippies, you better get with the program. In an intimate interview with earthcore owner Spiro Boursine we delved into the clientele of the modern day doof, and he pointed out these spiritual parties have grown to be far more than just a secret gathering for hippies in the know:

“They’re not just hippies anymore – from a grassroots sort of crowd you’ve got a bit of everybody. From the hippie to the corporate guy to the blue collar working guy or girl to people in different ethnic groups and a lot of travellers it’s become a lot broader sort of crowd. No particular one person goes to these events anymore so there’s no real hierarchy or scene as such which makes everyone more comfortable.”
