DJs Are Still Making Heaps More Than You According To Forbes Rich List

Forbes has once again reminded us that global superstar DJs are generally making a whole lot more money than you are with this years ‘Electronic Cash Kings’ earning reportedly between $12,000,000 and $66,000,000 in a single year! FML right?

Once again, the big guy Calvin Harris topped the list following on from his number one spot last year, although banked an additional $20,000,000 from his reported $46,000,000 earnings in 2013.

Almost half that figure was Tomorrowland tripper David Guetta with $30,000,000, Avicii levelling with Tiesto at a decent $28,000,000.

Throwing cakes still seems to be the rage with Steve Aoki netting just a touch under that with $23,000,000 and yeah, you start to get the idea….

Thankfully DJ Pauly D who earned as much as Diplo did in 2013 has dropped off the list but so did the Mad Decent boss as well, most likely testament to his work behind the scenes on production rather than headline fees and record sales.

What do you make of it all? Are we heading towards the bubble bursting?
