Gabe Gleeson and Chevy Long aka Indian Summer are one of the newest additions to the Sweat It Out family, a fitting label not only for their style of music but even more so after discovering the meaning of their name. According to their bio, the expression “Indian Summer” has been used for more than 2 centuries and in short, is a heat wave that occurs in Autumn. The Indian Summer we are talking about, will hit you harder than any heat wave in Autumn we can assure you that. Their latest single ‘Shiner’ ft. Ginger & The Ghost is airy, omninous and packs some punch, first aired on Triple J’s Good Nights program and has been making some serious noise in the blogosphere, hitting #1 on the Hype Machine chart. Have a listen below.
Their ‘Shiner’ EP TOUR is already underway, and if their set at LNDRY (Chinese Laundry) over the weekend is anything to go by you can expect a delicate mixture of originals and plenty of bass bangers which will have the place jumping from start to finish. Check out the dates and venues to see where you can catch the heatwave next!
