Berghain Bouncer Fronts Hugo Boss Fashion Campaign

From urban legend to book publisher Berghain bouncer Sven Marquardt has made a rapid accent to online notoriety only heightened by a recent campaign with fashion retailer Hugo Boss.

His early work as a photographer has led to a contribution of three photos adorned on fashionably black tees as part of a limited edition ‘fall/winter’ collection with most likely a suitably high price tag (around 80 euro’s per tee).

Each image captures the idea that people can change themselves to ‘play different roles’ as it is when people enter Berghain.

Hugo Boss explains;

Sven Marquardt, born in 1962, grew up in East Berlin. His work as a photographer is greatly inspired by the contemporary Berlin. His paintings play with the idea that people change themselves can and play different roles. Sven is known as a bouncer of the Berlin nightclub Berghain. Inspired by the nocturnal atmosphere he creates in Daylight its own images.

We’re guessing you probably won’t be seeing these worn by too many punters who frequent Berghain but you never know, might just help pave the way in through those notoriously difficult doors!

Head to the Hugo Boss site to grab your very own or read over the first of a collection of stories from Australians who’ve spent the night partying at Berghain.
