Sydney’s Late Night Party Void Is About To Be Filled

It’s 1am in the morning on a Friday night. You are having a good time in Sydney and are ready to move onto the next venue but everywhere you go, there’s that bloody lock out law (thanks old mate O’Farrell, you dodgy bastard). Fear not! From the guys who book everyone from What So Not, Golden Features, Indian Summer and more, comes a new night that strikes Sydney a minute before midnight.

Maker have teamed up with Kiran De Silva and Sam Korotov in an ambitious and exciting project to create a very late night party to fill the void Sydney’s nightlife is so desperately missing. But where?! – everyone gasps*. None other than The Imperial Hotel’s roller den, just a hop skip and jump from Newtown’s train station.

We’ve been told, the weekly Friday night bash that starts in August is going to be built on an emphasis for supporting Australian dance music and exploring everything from house / techno / disco / garage. Geared with the idea of housing young residents to provide a place to be able to showcase their own music and grow as artists, we’re no less than beyond excited!
