Hudson Mohawke has finally pulled the covers back on “Chimes”, his illusive joker card that the internet has kindly dubbed the kraken of trap music.

It’s part of a four-track EP due out September 30th on home label Warp Records and will also harbour predictable slammers “Brainwave” and “King Kong Beaver” (how drunk was he when he wrote that one?).

Is it good? Hell yeah it is. We already heard enough to figure it was brash bangor and the full stream cements that. Sidenote we are hoping someone figures out what the pitched vocal is on the outro.
