Perth duo HWLS have tackled fellow Aussie’s Seekae track ‘Test And Recognise’ and given it the stripped back, trappy, percussion rich treatment that we’ve come to expect from Ta-Ku and Kit Pop. The original surges with dance-driven boppy and bleepy electronica; the remix takes a step back, gets all sad boy and lays out the feels. It’s good.

Seekae’s third full-length release, ‘The Worry’ is due out Sep 12th via Future Classic. Whilst HWLS are continuing to impress us with their output (lending some credence to claims that they are the best thing to come out of Perth since the mighty Freo Dockers), we’re still hoping to get a full length release in the near future.
