Porter Robinson has gone down the high fashion route premiering a new one on Vogue from his hotly anticipated ‘Worlds’ release due out August 8th here in Australia courtesy of good friends EMI.

The track in question “Flicker” was thought to have actually been teased in his genre-spanning and Australian sound tinged Essential Mix in June, although having a full listen to it in all its glory is a bit of a game changer for any PR junkies.

In a similar vein to past singles “Sea of Voices”, “Sad Machine” and “Lionhearted” (with brilliant remixes), “Flicker” steps out of the box with its unconventional dance formula with a wash of sounds, video game inspired poly-tune and especially those super-fun oriental inspired vocal samples.

When chatting with Porter a few weeks back we quizzed the young producer on the album process behind ‘Worlds’ and were given a hilarious account of it mirroring that of making a sausage!

While you’re digesting all of that, there’s a reasonably priced box-set filled with special artwork alongside both 7″ and 12″ vinyl that’s worth a few of your e-bucks.

‘Worlds’ is due out in Australia August 8th through EMI.
