Nick Lynar releases dreamy tune, “Take Me”

Salacious Australian songwriter/producer, Nick Lynar, supplies soothing feels with his new single, ‘Take Me.’ Skimming Lynar’s soundcloud, his improvement foreshadows a very, very bright future. The track is decidedly brighter than his previous offering, the emotive ‘I Still,’ whilst maintaining his dream-like vocal melodies. This track arrives a mere week after sharing ‘One,’ a garage-tinged take on the modern Australian indie bass sound, characterized by producers Cosmo’s Midnight, Ta-Ku, Sable and Kilter.

‘Take Me’, on the other hand, finds it’s place somewhere amongst more vocal-focused acts such as Hayden James and The Kite String Tangle. The track’s heavy electronic textures deliver an injection saturated in emotion, that soothes both soul and eardrum throughout. Channeling the indie-future base wave, the glitchy percussive synth driven track, is only a mild taste of what’s in store for the emerging talent in 2014.

The track’s repetitive yet intriguing build is reminiscent of long interstate drives experienced in silence, allowing time for contemplation, with arguably a piping hot McDonald’s brown paper bag in hand. Lovin’ it.
